CipherLens Decoder Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 16, 2026
App Covered
This policy applies to CipherLens Decoder, package
com.cipherlens.decoder, published on Google Play by
EternalxOperator.
Information Processed By The App
CipherLens Decoder lets users scan an image with the camera or choose an image from the device gallery. The app uses on-device Google ML Kit text recognition to extract readable text from the selected image.
The selected images, OCR results, detected text patterns, and generated reports remain on the user's device unless the user chooses to share or export them through standard device sharing features. CipherLens Decoder does not upload document images or extracted OCR text to our servers.
Account Creation
CipherLens Decoder does not require users to create an account or log in.
Permissions
- Camera: Used only when the user chooses to capture an image for OCR.
- Photos or media picker: Used only when the user chooses an image from the device.
- Google Play Billing: Used only to purchase, restore, and verify the optional CipherLens Pro unlock.
Google Play Billing
CipherLens Decoder offers an optional one-time premium unlock through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store payment card numbers, bank account details, or full payment credentials.
The app may receive purchase status, product identifiers, and purchase tokens from Google Play to unlock, restore, or acknowledge premium features. Premium entitlement status may be cached locally on the device so purchased features continue to work offline.
Data Collection And Sharing
CipherLens Decoder does not collect or share user images, OCR text, or document content with us. The app does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or social sharing services operated by us. If the user exports or shares text using Android's system share sheet, the user chooses the destination app or service.
Data Retention And Deletion
Content processed by CipherLens Decoder is local to the user's device. Users can delete local app data by clearing app storage, deleting any exported files, or uninstalling the app.
Google Play purchase history and payment records are managed by Google according to Google Play's policies and the user's Google account settings.
Children's Privacy
CipherLens Decoder is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy when CipherLens Decoder changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
